Cortex Scientific Botanicals customizes our products to meet a wide variety of requirements. From full-spectrum extracts to highly concentrated botanical constituents, we can do it all. We research the effect of traditional vs. modern preparation and processing methods, as well as a wide variety of extraction conditions, to determine the effect on extract ratios, marker levels, and other parameters. We can thereby create ingredients to meet the needs of every formula and every formulator.  Extraction conditions must be carefully chosen to achieve the desired results. Systematic exploration of varying extraction conditions reveals the effect on extract ratio and marker levels, as in the brief example on the right.
GMP Manufacturing Cortex Scientific Botanicals ingredients are manufactured in state-of-the-art facilities under pharmaceutical GMP standards. Each facility has its own QA/QC department on site, which oversees documentation, calibrations, validations, etc. All batches of our proprietary products are thoroughly documented in both Chinese and English, to facilitate proper review by our corporate QA department based in the U.S.
